So for years now, all of Sony friends have been telling me that the Playstation 3 was going to dominate for the rest of the lifespan of the next two next-gen consoles. But, now that I mention it, these are the same people who said that the New Star Wars trilogy would be better than the original based on new technology alone.... so with that kind of track record how could they be wrong?

Sales reports tell us that the Wii and the 360 are dominating the Ebay marketplace. And according to Punchjump.com the PS3 is selling for an average of $544.61.

Sure Sony still makes a profit (as they should for a cool system), but it seams that they have an almost "hands inside of pockets" shirk to them nowadays.

I'm curious what Sony will do, esspecially when the new Smash Bros. and Halo 3 hit the shelves.
